Description
Issue 9, delves into a theme that we are calling “Unapologetically Casual Fly” – a celebration of individuality, conviction, and the power of knowing exactly who you are and being comfortable in your own skin.
At the heart of Issue 9 is a story of sound and style featuring Grammy-nominated jazz musician Etienne Charles, whose style effortlessly blends tradition and modernity. His story is like great jazz music – a rhythm of authenticity, improvisation, and cultural depth.
In Issue 9, we also feature a collection of photographs by Abbuja, Nigeria-based photographer Ario James, whose photographs capture life in a way that is both intimate and expansive. From there, we head to Barcelona, Spain, with photographs by Kristina Tochilko, whose photographs capture a Mediterranean sense of rhythm in terms of architecture and movement.
The journey continues through places where craft and culture converge. In the American heartland, we feature the partnership between Ralph Lauren and TOPA, an effort that embodies the ongoing dialogue between heritage and innovation. On the other side of the Atlantic, we visit Mantova, Italy, an environment of tranquil elegance where the philosophy of MANTO becomes clear.
Style is not static. Curated by Geoffrey Yabes, Contemporary Menswear Style Editor, this issue of Unapologetically Casual Fly also showcases a number of contemporary menswear brands that should be on your radar – designers who are redefining what it means to be stylish today with clarity, character, and purpose.
Ultimately, Issue 9 is about presence – about standing firmly on what you believe in, unapologetically and unreservedly expressing it without hesitation or doubt, and allowing your style to be an honest reflection of your life.
No compromise. Just heart, soul, and passion.
Welcome to Unapologetically Casual Fly.
Enjoy the journey.
